I worked on a 6-month long blue-sky strategy project for Kakao Healthcare. Kakao is a multi-billion dollar South Korean corporation that spans communication, mobility, finance & entertainment. Kakao was looking to expand into the healthcare space by leveraging their technology expertise. Our blue-sky research outlined potential healthcare niches from which they could grow a new healthcare brand from scratch. This project focused on both US and S.Korean markets.

Following our strategy project, Kakao Healthcare launched with the app Pasta. The app's niche addresses a genetically common health disease in Asia, diabetes. Pasta aggregates data from wearable devices and tracks nutrition intake to help users prevent and manage diabetes.
